Brett Fliegler, President and CEO
Brett Fliegler is the founder, CEO and President of BrookBeam Dental. Brett moved to Kingston, NY in the mid-1970’s when his father accepted a general dentist position at Pine Street Dental. Forty years later, Brett saw an opportunity in the Mid-Hudson Valley to create an affiliated network of dental practices. His vision was to create a partnership with the dentists and their staffs that would allow them to focus their full attention on providing high quality dentistry and cultivating the strong rapport developed with their patients and community while supporting the practice with the proper business services to operate more efficiently and grow.
Prior to founding BrookBeam Dental, Brett was a Partner at Enhanced Healthcare Partners, a lower-middle market private equity firm specializing in the healthcare services sector. Before joining Enhanced Healthcare Partners, Brett was a Vice President of Sunrise Capital Partners, L.P., where he focused on control investments in distressed and turn-around situations in the middle market. Brett was previously an Associate at MSD Capital, L.P., Michael Dell’s personal investment company, and also worked in the investment banking division at Houlihan Lokey Howard & Zukin.
Brett received a Bachelor of Science in Economics from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan.
Emily Maisch, Director of Operations
Emily Maisch joined BrookBeam Dental in late 2016 and serves as the Director of Operations. Emily began her career as a registered dental hygienist and has nearly 11 years of experience in the dental industry. Emily joined BrookBeam as a Hygiene Coordinator before transitioning to an operations-focused position. Emily’s primary focus has been developing the systems and processes to be able to effectively grow the business while still maintaining the reputation that BrookBeam is known for, excellent customer service and quality patient care. Within her first year, and with help from a magnificent team, she was instrumental in the growth of the organization.
Ericka Bishko, Controller
Ericka Bishko joined BrookBeam Dental in April 2018. Over the course of her career, Ericka has worked in a number of different industries within the accounting arena. Most recently, she was the Accounting Manager for Silo Ridge, a million-dollar real estate development company in the Hudson Valley. She was responsible for all accounting and all financial reporting. Prior to Silo Ridge, Ericka worked for Bose Corporation in Framingham, MA and a Hudson Valley CPA firm in Poughkeepsie, NY.
Through her previous experience, she has learned to cultivate positive working relationships as well as to implement new, efficient accounting procedures. In her previous roles, Ericka was revered as the go-to point person and was always willing to go the extra mile, whether it be for colleagues or clients.
Ericka holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and an MBA from SUNY New Paltz. She is also a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York.
Lisa Bonk, Finance/M&A Specialist
Lisa Bonk is a Finance and M&A professional with over 20 years of experience. Most recently she was a Management Consultant with Deloitte with a focus on Finance Systems, Finance Process, and Mergers and Acquisitions. Lisa creates scalable finance infrastructure to advance organizations towards leading practices and integrate mergers and acquisitions into the Finance and Operational Infrastructure.
Lisa has a track record of process creation and redesign, M&A services, managing internal and external resources, cost reduction, technology optimization, and system implementations. Lisa managed large and small finance departments including the functions of accounting, financial planning and analysis, accounts payable, treasury, payroll and information technology and managed multiple projects during her tenure at Deloitte. Lisa has a proven ability to; build sound relationships resulting in improved reporting, enhance processes resulting in increasing efficiency and effectiveness and separate of merge organizations both large and small.
Lisa received a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from the State University of New York at Buffalo and a M.B.A from Cornell’s Johnson Graduate School of Management.
Jennifer Corcoran, Regional Operations Manager
In her role as Regional Ops Manager, Jennifer Corcoran has her hands in all aspects of the dental practices on the west side of the Hudson River, including patient care and treatment, billing, accounting, insurance and routine people-management concerns. She brings to BrookBeam over fifteen years of experience in the dental field, having worked in management positions at four separate dental practices, including for a decade, for a prominent Hudson Valley endodontist.
Jen was first hired as Practice Administrator at Family Smiles’ Poughkeepsie office and quickly distinguished herself as a consummate problem-solver and go-to person. When it came time to hire a Regional Operations Manager, Jen was the natural choice and was quickly promoted.
Jen is a graduate of New Paltz High School, who prides herself on her drive to help people, her ability to see all sides of an issue and to fix systems and processes that are broken.
Linda Seward, Accounts Payable Specialist
Linda Seward has had a diverse career in finance and office management with experience in medical, retail, not for profit, and service-based businesses. Prior to joining BrookBeam, Linda worked in a variety of office management positions including running her own office services business, acting as Facilities and Office and Finance Manager at the Hudson River Maritime Museum and Office Manager at Colonial Oil and Paraco Gas.
Collaboration and team building are her trademark skills, which she uses to create procedures and business plans that make systems run efficiently. A self-professed geek, she loves new software and hardware and has often stepped up to roll out and train on new programs and technology in various industries. Linda holds an Associate Degree in Specialized Business from Schuylkill Business Institute.
Victoria Kohler, Payroll & Benefits Manager
Victoria Kohler has worked in the healthcare industry for over 20 years, including 15 years in the field of Human Resources. She specializes in benefits, payroll, and leave of absence administration, and she brings a collaborative, enthusiastic, and resourceful approach to her work.
Victoria’s experience working with large hospital systems has helped her recognize and appreciate the opportunity to serve patients and the community by providing quality health and dental care. In her position at BrookBeam, she enjoys playing a part in fulfilling our vision and mission to provide state-of-the-art dental care with integrity, respect, care, excellence, and teamwork.
Victoria earned an A.A.S in Business with Human Resources concentration from University of Phoenix, and she will receive a B.S. in Business with Human Resources Management concentration from Marist College in 2023.
